To make my showreel, a friend of mine helped me shoot some footage, including wide shots and mid frame shots using a canon 4k camera, I was able to acquire a lot of recordings to edit for later. 

I edited those videos on photoshop and premiere pro, I also added my own digital artworks added the "all that " sound using 'ben sound' royalty free music.
